Glocal Films' aim is to create an opportunity for young Tibetans living in different countries to connect with each other directly via a video exchange. This will give participants the chance to express the ways in which they negotiate between their Tibetan heritage and their host culture, as well as giving them the opportunity to compare strategies with their peer groups in different countries.

This film project will reveal what a global Tibetan identity and culture mean for this generation and therefore present a refreshing insight for a world audience.

We intend to have the film completed for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, which we believe will be a good opportunity to focus the world's attention on Tibet.
