Spread over 3 valleys in the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan live the Kalasha, a culturally vibrant community of 4,000 people. In a sea of Muslims stretching from Turkey to Kashmir, the Kalasha have retained their own language, religion and way of life.

The children's film focuses on the origins of school education in the Kalasha valleys and the importance of retaining their Kalasha roots whilst participating in mainstream education.
