around the world, Glocal Films empowers individuals and groups
in creating a voice through film.
Not only do these films provide a vehicle of communication for
the individual, they provide a representation for the community
and give the viewer a perspective from within.
Based on a democratic approach, these projects can serve
as a medium for research, documentation and training.
Used as a political tool, they carry the potential to evoke
social change.
Glocal Films in collaboration with Austrian organisations
Direkthilfe and proLoka delivered a participatory
video project to a group of women in Bagh, Kashmir,
Pakistan in an effort for trauma relief and motivation
after the earthquake.
